Advanced Macrobiotic Training Certificate Requirements
Students may complete certificate requirements for one of both of the following: Macrobiotic Counselor Certificate or Macrobiotic Teacher Certificate.
Requirements for Counselors Certificate
- Complete all 12 Weekend Courses
- Complete Counselor Mentorship Program
- Turn in all relevant paperwork and be in good standing
Counselor Mentorship Program Requirements:
- Scribe for 100 consultations with a qualified counselor/mentor
- Complete 50 practice consultations w/mentor review
- Complete 30 practice consultations w/mentor supervision
Requirements for Teachers Certificate
- Complete all 12 Weekend Courses
- Complete Teacher Mentorship Program
- Turn in all relevant paperwork and be in good standing
Teacher Mentorship Program Requirements:
- Audit and evaluate 25 classes (at least 5 different teachers)
- Teach 20 classes with supervised feedback and evaluation
- Develop 10 original classes approved by faculty or mentor teacher
