The Natural Epicurean offers an 800-hour comprehensive Culinary Training Program for people interested in increasing their knowledge of macrobiotic, vegan/vegetarian cooking and improving their health through better nutrition.

The Training Program includes Twenty Series (4 classes per series) of cooking instruction, theory and business classes, a variety of elective specialty classes, and many opportunities for assistantships and internships. The program is designed to make students knowledgeable in all areas of natural foods and macrobiotic cooking including cutting/cooking techniques, home processing, food energetics, cooking for healing diets, vegetarian and vegan cooking, seasonal cooking for optimal health, basic Oriental diagnosis, five transformation theory, and home remedies.
Start dates for the program are January, May, or September. We accept applications on a rolling basis, but must close registration on the first day of registration (December, April and August, respectively) each trimester.
