Policies

The Natural Epicurean strives for professionalism and safety in the kitchen and the classroom. Students are required to adhere to the following rules in order to attend and receive credit for classes and assisting shifts.

Every student must adhere to the following for all classes:

  • Wear appropriate attire
    • closed toe, non-slip shoes
    • long pants or skirt (must be below the knee)
    • shirt with sleeves (must not expose underarms)
    • hair tied back
  • Bring kitchen essentials (regardless of class format)
    • pen and chef's journal
    • apron
    • chef's knife
