Join Indian cuisine specialist Shefaly Ravula for an evening of vegetarian Indian specialties. Shefaly will demonstrate how to make crispy Dahi Puri’s (Indian flatbread) with creamy cumin-scented yogurt, potatoes and a tamarind-date chutney; Tomato Rasam (Indian soup), plus a delicious okra curry over basmati rice.
Shefaly is influenced and inspired buy both Southern and Northern Indian cuisine. Her mother was her first teacher, and she began helping in the kitchen at the age of 10. Shefaly worked as a physician’s assistant for many years and became inspired to teach Indian cooking that is healthy, flavorful and adaptable including vegan and gluten free options.
