Tuition and Payment Plans

2008 Tuition Schedule

General Tuition: $15,000
Application Fee: $25

To celebrate our 10 year anniversary as The Natural Epicurean, we are offering all students who apply and start classes in 2008, a deluxe macrobiotic starter package (valued at $1000) that includes Le Creuset cookware, a Silit pressure cooker, Natural Epicurean apparel and much more!

Payment Options

Option A
One Payment in full of $13,750 at registration

Option B
Initial fee of $250 and two payments of $7000 (due at registration and 9 months from initial payment date)

Option C
Initial fee of $250 and four payments of $3500 (due at registration and every 4 months until paid in full)

Option D
Initial downpayment of $600 and 36 monthly payments of $400 plus 5% APR interest through TFC Credit Corporation

Tuition includes:

  • 2008 Student Starter Package
  • 20 Beginner and Advanced Series (4 classes per series)
  • 8 Specialty/Elective classes
  • 8 Commercial Kitchen classes
  • 12 Techniques classes
  • 12 Philosophy classes
  • Growth and Support classes
  • Assistantship of 160 hours
  • Internship of 160 hours
  • Final Exam
  • Demo Exam
  • Four required progress meetings with Culinary Program Coordinator
  • 2 Weekend Workshops

Upon completion, a Natural Food Chef certificate will be issued for the full 800-hour program.

Refund Policy

  • 100% of paid tuition less $250 will be refunded if the student withdraws from the program at least two weeks prior to the start date of the first session of enrollment
  • 50% of paid tuition less $250 will be refunded if the student withdraws from the program at least two weeks prior to the start date of the second session of enrollment

The fine print: Tuition pricing is subject to change. Refunds are only available for the lump sum and two-payment plans. Payments for Options A, B, and C must be made in cash or check. A 3% processing fee will be added if you would like to pay by credit card. The contents of the 2008 Student Starter Package may vary slightly based on item availability. The contents may not be substituted, refunded or exchanged.
